A place to watch. Both old and new. Outside of expectation.
Me, a woman newly herself, watches two films, focusing intently on another woman seemingly present in both. 

Them – a vicious, nasty bunch of clowns – arrive and proceed to proudly and stubbornly misgender Me as ‘he’, as ‘Daniel’.
They don't understand the obsession with these films and this random woman, they just want their ‘him’ back.
Me, confident in her gender, stands firm against these 'friends', forcing Them to retreat.

Me asks herself – how can't they see her in the film? How does she not affect them? How do they still look at Me and see… someone else?
Them interrupt and interject, pushing their nonsense in from a distant place, trying to make Me crack.

At the point where Me can almost take no more, She steps out of the film – silvery, beautiful, perfect. As Me discovers who She is, they move closer and closer together. A hand is outstretched, and She takes Me with her, back into her silver screen.

A single member of Them returns to the space, alone and seeking out Me. Instead, they find the films.

The film reels keep on turning.
